What is the difference between a classic and a Korean Lash Lift?Updated 18 days ago

The difference lies in both the technique and the products used.

A classic lash lift focuses on curling the lashes using shields, combined with an adhesive or glue balm to secure the lashes in place. The lotions are typically not applied across the full length of the lash.

The Korean technique takes a different approach: a lift from the root, resulting in a sleeker, more lifted finish. This method uses specialized flat shields, designed to create a straight lift directly from the base of the lash.

The products also differ. The lotions are cysteamine-based, making them milder and suitable for application across the entire length of the lash. Instead of a glue balm or adhesive, a lifting powder is used to position the lashes.

The result is a more refined, modern lift with maximum control and a gentler approach to the natural lash.
