The colour isn’t staining the skin well. What could be the reason?Updated 18 days ago

There are several factors that influence how well Hybrid Dye stains the skin.

  • The chosen shade plays an important role. A lighter shade—such as Oat—is designed for a soft, subtle result and will leave little to no stain on the skin. The effect is primarily focused on colouring the brow hairs.

  • The natural base of the brow also matters. If there are fewer hairs present, the dye has less to hold onto, which can affect the intensity of the result.

  • Skin type is another key factor. On oilier skin, the dye tends to adhere less effectively, meaning the stain may appear lighter or fade more quickly.

  • Preparation is essential. If the skin hasn’t been properly cleansed—leaving traces of oil, make-up or skincare—the dye cannot bind as well.

  • Finally, product freshness plays a role. After opening, Hybrid Dye can gradually lose its strength. After around 6 months, this may begin to affect the result.

Even with correct application, results can vary from person to person. Mrs.Highbrow products are designed to support the professional’s work, but they never replace knowledge, experience, and technique.
